SUMMARY

Our newest addition to our ‘Solstice’ collection uses a salvaged walnut slab with (4) corner side-edges that are cut straight while leaving some of the slab’s natural live edge in the center-most part of the sides. The tabletop sits atop two wide-set wood trapezoid legs with a 1/4" gap and risers left between the top and base to give a "floating" illusion. A 5° angled edge follows the degree of the tapered legs. Contrasting maple splines run through each joint and add an eye-catching detail as well as rigidity at the miters.

This design is completely customizable and can be made in a variety of materials and finishes.

Our furniture ships nationwide. Because every piece is unique, transit costs vary by destination and service level. Please contact us with your zip code for a custom carrier quote. Personal delivery is also available for select California and Northern Nevada orders.

Building slab furniture is an extensive process and there are many factors to consider. We cover everything with our clients from how the wood is sourced and sustainably salvaged, to the required drying process, to the criteria for picking out a slab, to the nature of the raw material, to the leveling process, to explaining and expanding on the occurrence of natural wood ‘movement’, and how to best maintain and upkeep the slab once finished.
