REFINISHING SERVICES

Thoughtfully crafted furniture is designed to age beautifully, but even the most well-loved pieces occasionally need a refresh. Our refinishing services are designed to restore the warmth, durability, and natural beauty of solid wood pieces that have become dry, lightly damaged, or ready for renewed protection.

This service is primarily offered for pieces originally built in our workshop. We may occasionally accept outside refinishing projects, though availability is limited and each project is reviewed individually.

Our refinishing services are focused mainly on solid wood tabletops and furniture similar in style and construction to the pieces we create.

WHAT KINDS OF PROJECTS WE GENERALLY ACCEPT

Our refinishing services are best suited for:

  • Solid wood tables and tabletops

  • Dry or faded surfaces needing renewed protection

  • Minor scratches, marks, stains, or everyday wear

  • Pieces located within our regular service areas near Tahoe and select areas throughout Northern California

We are unable to accept: Veneer or plywood furniture, Antique restoration projects, Upholstered furniture, Structural furniture repairs, Pieces requiring extensive restoration outside our standard scope.

All refinishing projects require review and approval prior to scheduling.

REFINISHING ASSESSMENT

To determine which refinishing option is the right fit, please send us photos of your piece before scheduling.

Please include:

  • Several overall photos showing the entire piece

  • Close-up images of scratches, stains, worn areas, or damage

  • Any specific areas of concern you would like us to review

  • Approximate dimensions of the piece you are looking to have refinished

  • Your location (zip code, city, or actual address)

After reviewing your photos, we’ll confirm whether your piece qualifies for refinishing, recommend the best service option, and provide any additional pricing considerations if specialized work is needed.
