Already have a base and looking for a simple tabletop to pair with it? You’ve come to the right place! We regularly stock both common grade dimensional walnut and prime grade dimensional walnut material in bulk and can have a tabletop built and ready to ship within 6 weeks (sooner than having us build complete custom project including a base and fit-up).
We can source a variety of materials, but the following 3 wood species are materials that we stock regularly for quicker producyion times.
Common grade dimensional walnut lumber is generally sourced from the outer most part of the tree and includes "rustic" characteristics such as knots, cracks/inclusions, sapwood (sporadic occurrences of blonde coloring), smaller planks and "wild" grain patterns.
Prime grade dimensional walnut lumber is sourced from the center-most part of the tree (the heartwood), and has more refined characteristics such as few-to-no knots or cracks/inclusions, less occurrences of sapwood, wider planks and mellower grain character.
