We use 1/4" risers separating the wood tabletop and steel base for a "floating" effect, with the bold and sturdy presence of wide-set base.
Pictured in the listing example images is prime grade walnut with a clear powder-coated base (both features are optional upgrades). This design is completely customizable and can be made in a variety of materials and finishes.
