We have two different wood finish options to choose from, each having different durability properties and maintenance requirements:

1.  HARDWAX-OIL FINISH  |  Osmo Polyx Oil is derived from natural plant oils and waxes, providing a hard-wearing and protective surface that is resistant to water, soda, wine, etc. The finish maintains the natural look and feel of the wood, all while offering protection and durability. In order to maintain the finish, we do recommend using coasters under serveware containing hot or cold liquids as well as cleaning up spills so as to not leave anything to set in over long periods. One major advantage to the hardwax oil is that it’s incredibly easily repairable/maintained, and in the event that minor signs of use occur the finish can be spot repaired with no sanding necessary. With Osmo's maintenance liquid wax cleaner, it's simple and quick to bring the finish "back to life" (https://worldclasssupply.com/store/OSMO-Liquid-Wax-Cleaner.html?xid=nAvveExJm5amkDObEnAfw5nIUWZBHupu). 2.  CONVERSION VARNISH FINISH  |  Since 2012 we have been using a spray-on, low-VOC conversion varnish. This finish offers a nice satin sheen with an exceptional durable ‘film’ finish comprised of two coats. In our earlier stages after trying out a dozen different finishes, we decided upon the conversion varnish due to the desired sheen of the finish in conjunction with it's superior durability. It is one of the most durable finishes available, while it's chemical makeup allows for elasticity with seasonal wood movement. However, the finish is very difficult to repair in the event that any damages occur, where the wood would require being transported to a professional to refinish the entire piece to restore it to new condition, even if the damage is minor. For these reasons, we also offer a more easily maintained finish, a hardwax oil (outlined above in option 1). Additionally, although the finish is considered low-VOC, it is not as eco-friendly as the new hardwax-oil finish we are offering as an alternative. MORE INFO HERE: http://www.mezworks.com/finish/

1.  CLEAR COAT FINISH  |  This will preserve the natural color of the steel, provides protection from staining and rusting, and requires no upkeep. The steel is ground and polished and will remain natural and bright.

XS - SMALL | +$195
MED - LARGE | +$245
XLARGE - XXLARGE | +$295

2.  POWDER-COAT FINISH  |  Powder-coating would allow us to achieve just about any color, matte or glossy. If you are unfamiliar with powder-coating, it is a free-flowing dry powder that is applied electrostatically and is then cured under heat to allow it to form a hard finish that it tougher than conventional paint. It's used mainly for coating auto parts, bike parts and outdoor furniture which require super durable and water resistant finishes. Colors are limitless, but typically our clients prefer a simple black powder-coat. We can arrange to have the legs professionally powder-coated by a pro steel shop in our neighborhood, who charges accordingly for different dimensions.
UPGRADE COSTS:
XS - SMALL | +$195
MED - LARGE | +$245
XLARGE - XXLARGE | +$295

3.  BLACK MAGIC PATINA FINISH + CLEAR COAT  |  *AS PICTURED IN LISTING PHOTOS*  |  This finish is going to give off a more industrial look, bringing the color of the legs to a deeper/darker grey. Several hand-rubbed coats are applied to the steel legs, allowing drying times between and repeating the application several times until the desired color is reached. This process combines the patina and clear coat for maintenance-free durability.

MED - LARGE | +$295
XLARGE - XXLARGE | +$345

If you are unsure of the exact table size your needs require, consider the following basic guidelines:
- Provide each guest 24-30 inches of space at the dining table (chairs range from apprx 16-20" and require at least 6" of space on each side to allow guests to seat comfortably)
- Add an extra 12 inches at each end for those seated at the head and foot of the table
- Allow for at least 36 inches between the dining table and any walls or other furniture
