This contemporary design pairs black walnut with clear-coated steel providing a sleek accent for a modern home.
The 'Sakamoto' collection encompasses minimalism in it's clarity of design. A clear-walnut tabletop with no knots in the grain and a simple tapered base provides an elegant but versatile look that can integrate into any room.
Working with builders and interior designers to tailor our designs to compliment new home builds and remodels are amongst many of our projects. The 'Clocktower' project in San Francisco is a creative example of a great collaboration between us, the homeowner, architects, and cabinetmakers to incorporate our table into a modern city loft.
Named for it's compass-like base, the 'Northstar' table has an interesting array of features. The intricate and vibrant grain patterns in the walnut tabletop command attention, while beveled edges soften the design.
When opportunities arise, we do our best to participate in unique experiences to salvage wood and sometimes steel from deconstruction projects in areas local to us in Northern California. Redwood and douglas fir are amongst materials that we commonly reclaim and reuse, from outdoor deck tear-downs to salvaging warehouse floor joists.
'WOODRIDGE' LIVE EDGE CONSOLE
Created from a single salvaged black walnut slab, the 'Woodridge' console table focuses around a set of unique drawer fronts with continuous grain pattern and live edge.
Our most popular design, the 'Zeeva' table has become a signature piece. We've built several versions to accommodate just about any use. From desks to consoles, benches, shelved entertainment stands, coffee tables, end tables, dining tables and expandable tables, this versatile design can fit just about any need and can be custom made with any variety of materials and finishes.
FROM RAW TO REFINED
We provide a range of furniture styles from an organic, natural look using salvaged live edge slab wood, to a more fine-tuned and streamlined semblance of dimensional woods and solid steel bases.
'Zeeva' Desk with Keyboard Tray
Emphasizing reclaimed materials from the salvaged douglas fir floor joists used for the cabinet body to the re-sawn reclaimed redwood facing, the 'Lexington' dresser maintains sustainable build practices with aesthetic intent.
EVEN THE LITTLE THINGS COUNT...
Choosing the right materials and strategically placing them for distinctive appeal is amongst our biggest intent in the planning stages of a project. We want each piece to have it's own unique "wow" factor, and with every project we find a point of interest to represent a distinguishing design aspect.
Using salvaged slabs was our introduction into the furniture-making industry. Each piece is worlds apart from one another in providing their own unique characteristics. No two slabs are exactly alike in their vibrant, marbling mixtures of colors and unpredictable wild edges, making each slab special in their own right.
